Most people think that the “dog days,” are those summer days so
devastatingly hot that even dogs would lie around on the asphalt,
panting. Originally, the phrase actually had nothing to do with dogs, or even
with the lazy days of summer. Instead, it turns out, the dog days refer
to the dog star, Sirius, and its position in the heavens.
Either way, the dog to the left has the right idea - deck yourself out in some bling and it won't matter how hot you feel - you'll look cool!
Our mid-August classes have lots to offer with several mediums and new techniques and projects with Angela Peace, Pauline Peskoff, Kelly Garland and Cindy Goldrick. We also have encore classes with Pamela Kearns and Bonni Poch. There is something for everyone!
