Fantabulous - Like Christmas in August! Our Pre-Inventory We'd-Rather-Sell-It-Than-Count-It Sale

For a few weeks now - we've been telling you that we need to close next week for inventory. Four days of counting - we're reeeeally looking forward to this. (So remember - next week - we are closed on Thursday the 16th through to, and including Sunday the 19th. The store is closed, the studios are closed, and online orders will not be picked during that time, although you are welcome to place orders. Naturally - it will take us a few days to catch up again on in the following week.) 

Well - this is the week to help us out - because - we'd really rather sell it to you than count it!

So - we're having a big pre-inventory sale! 

20% off on almost everything in the store. And, because we are crazier than a room full of bead ladies, No - wait - we are exactly as crazy as a room full of bead ladies! Anyway, if you have a business discount, or a Bead Society member discount, you get to double dip! (That's 20% off, and then your regular discount percent off that total afterwards - so not quite the total of the two discounts added together, in case you spent math class doodling.)
The exceptions are:

• No discounts on class fees (But if you take a class during the sale, you get the sale discount and the student discount. Did you know students get a discount?)
  
  
• No discounts on Studio time/lampwork cards, lampwork tools, glass and lampwork supplies. (But, did you know, if you have a studio card for torch rental, you get a discount in store, same as if you are taking a class!)
  
  
• No discounts on special order merchandise, or special bulk orders.
  
  
• The discount cannot be combined with Art Clay large volume or instructor discounts.
  
  
• No discount on gift certificates.
  
  
• Some items ARE excluded. No discounts on Books or Magazines, Sterling and Fine Silver Wire, some metal clay items, and a few other odds and bobs. You will be able to see online if an item is discounted, and it will confirm it in the shopping cart listing.

Things tend to get a little crazy around here during a sale, so we have a few rules to make it go more smoothly.

• No frequent beader points awarded on sale or discounted merchandise
  
  
• No frequent beader points will be redeemed during the sale
  
  
• The discount is NOT retroactive and does not apply to previously purchased merchandise.
  
  
• No special orders or bulk orders will be accepted at the sale prices.
  
  
• No backorders. This sale is only 4 days, and when the item is gone, it's gone. The early bird gets the beads. Online orders will be picked in the order in which we receive them.
  
  
• The discount does not apply to merchandise that was previously 'held' in your shopping cart. The shopping cart will not retroactively take off the discount. (It's not that smart!). You will be able to see in the shopping cart if the discount has been applied or not.
  
  
• If you are placing a phone or fax order, please ensure that you have the sku/product numbers ready, as well as the description. Same goes for email orders - as we'd prefer to not have our order picking staff have too many nervous breakdowns. It's always painful to see them, clutching a teddy bear and hiding in the bathroom, crying.
  
• We will be VERY busy during the sale. Having this information ready when processing your order, will help us get your order out the door in a reasonable time frame.

The sale is continuing to the end of this coming Sunday, August 12 and will end at 11:59 Sunday night (Toronto time). (Well - in-store it ends at closing time on Sunday - because we can't make the staff stay until midnight.)
We do anticipate that shipping will most likely be delayed by a day or two from our usual timeframe.

Warning!

We will be closed Aug 16 - 19 for inventory. Our store will be closed and online orders will not be picked during that time, as we will need all hands on deck for the inventory - plus it messes up the inventory to pick orders while counting! If we finish early - we'll reopen early. Online order picking will resume on the 20th, in the order in which the orders were ordered. ;-) Thank you for your patience!
