Bangles are all the rage this season and you can create your own using the African Helix stitch and even-count Peyote stitch. Lightweight and flexible, the bangles are created using size 11 seed beads.

Saturday is clay day here at beadFX!  

From 10 am to 5pm on April 28th join me (Jennifer) for a fun Metal Clay Playday. We have plenty of Art Clay Copper in stock, plus for those of you who have taken Hadar's class, we also have her clay available for sale and use!

NOTE: For those choosing to use Hadar's clay, there will be an additional firing fee. (TBD) The firing is a multistage process, and can take up to three weeks to finish.

Also on Saturday join Stephanie for a few hours of adding some serious bling to your clay creations!

Come play with the hottest product on the market that sold out in Tucson! As seen last year at the Toronto Bead Society Fall fair, and in upcoming issues of Bead Style - Crystals and Bead Unique, be ahead of the trend and make your own Crystal Clay Bling. 

Crystal Clay is a two part epoxy clay that is easily mixed and formed into any shape. Working time is approximately 1 1/2 hours after mixed and clay is fully hardened in 24 hours. Simply mix and knead both parts of the epoxy clay together for several minutes. Add SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS fancy stones and bling out anything!

Price: $40 (+ HST), payment in advance required

Supplies: Crystal Clay and Bezel (round or oval shape preferred) of your choice, one package of CrystalFX, one package of MetalFX 

Special Instructions to Students: The following needs to be purchased for this class: 1 Crystal Clay kit in the colour of your choice, bezel of your choice (round or oval shape), 1 package of Crystal FX and 1 package of MetalFX. These supplies are eligible for the 15% student discount.

Angela is here on Sunday April 29th teaching her ever popular Intro to Chinese knotting class. Angela's classes regularly sell out - Sign up soon!

 This course will introduce you to the traditional art of Chinese knotting. Learn to tie two styles of button knots, and make a necklace cord with an adjustable sliding button knot fastener.
You will also learn how to incorporate these techniques into your jewelry designs, when stringing or making pendant style necklaces and accessories.

Price: $50 (+HST), payment in advance required

Supplies: $12 (+ tax). Course kit includes printed illustrated instructions, practice cords and sufficient cord, to make up to a 20inch button knot cord for a pendant.  Lots of colour choice to satisfy your creativity.

Stone pendants, cords and kits will also be available for purchase.

Need to Bring: Bring your favourite pendant to class for that perfect colour match.
